Thank you for coordinating the Riverside County Seal of Multiliteracy at your school.

Student Verification List - School Site Representative submit by Friday, September 8, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

The school site representative must submit one Student Verification list. Information regarding how to submit the Student Verification list will be emailed to all school site representatives. If you have questions, please email rcoeseal@rcoe.us.

Note: School site representatives should maintain a list of students who are eligible and have applied. The county office will email a final list of eligible students after each stage of the process. A school site representative may compare their list with the county office list to ensure all records are correct.

Students should verify that their name is included on the Student Verification list.

The following information and resources are to help you organize and prepare for the Seal of Multiliteracy. If you have questions please reach out via email to rcoeseal@rcoe.us.

  • Work with the principal, counselors, teachers, and staff to help you promote the Seal of Multiliteracy, to recruit students, and to ensure there are no conflicting student events.

  • Work with the principal to recruit assessors. The school is responsible for providing one assessor for every six students. For example, if there are 14 students eligible to apply and participate, the school must provide two assessors. The school is also responsible for providing target language assessors. Email rcoeseal@rcoe.us, if you need assistance.

  • Submit the Students Verification online by Friday, September 8, 2023. Keep your own list of eligible students who have applied. You will be able to compare your list with the county office list that will be emailed after the due date of Friday, September 8, 2023.
  • You are the primary information officer for students, so connect with your students frequently.
    • Ensure students understand whether they meet eligibility criteria. See Are You Eligible? Flowchart.
    • Ensure students have access to all the data they will need to complete the application. See Application Worksheet.
    • Ensure they have access to the resources they need including technical equipment (i.e., printers, scanners, internet).
    • Remind students of all important dates.
    • Remind students to read the website and every document they encounter to make sure they are following instructions; otherwise, their application will be disqualified.
