The Early Education Programs (EEP) unit was created to better align services and supports provided to students, families, providers, and the community. The new unit includes both Head Start/Early Head Start (HS/EHS) and State Preschool/Center-Based Programs (CSPP/CCTR).

In addition to HS/EHS and CSPP/CCTR, the new Early Education Programs (EEP) unit now supports Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK), Early Education Teacher Development Grant (EETDG), Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program (IEEEP), and is working in collaboration with the Educational Services Division for Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK).
