The College and Career Readiness (CCR) unit is committed to supporting all educators by providing professional development and much needed resources on vital topics including college admissions, career planning, college affordability, and post-secondary planning. The CCR unit works with educational leaders and community stakeholders across the nation to support and increase a college going culture in our county’s TK-12 schools, ensuring that our students are well prepared for the workforce needs of the 21st century.

The College and Career Readiness (CCR) unit at Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) was created to further advance the organization’s pledge across the county.

As our school districts continue with distance learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the College and Career Readiness (CCR) Unit is committed to supporting school counselors and educators by providing professional development and much needed resources on vital topics and obstacles you are facing. With so many resources, tool kits, and links for counselors to look through during COVID-19, we instead streamlined the essential information and topics needed to support you through the end of the school year. Our students rely so much on your guidance in the fields of academic, socio-emotional and college and career readiness and we want to ensure you receive the latest best practices as well as strategies to continue your efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that we have modified our plans for the FREE School Counselor On-the-Go Webinar Series via virtual professional development in April and May to meet your current needs in response to COVID-19.

The CCR unit at RCOE was created to further advance the organization’s pledge across the county.

Through the collective efforts of the Riverside County School Counselor Leadership Network (SCLN) and the Riverside County Education Collaborative (RCEC), the unit works with education leaders and community stakeholders to support and increase a college going culture in our county’s K-12 schools, ensuring that our students are well prepared for the workforce needs of the 21st century.
