The Credentials Services Unit provides credentialing support to Riverside County's 23 schools districts (employers) and RCBE authorized charter schools with:

  • general credentialing information,
  • credential application and renewal processing services, and
  • temporary county certificate issuance.

As of September 30, 2022, for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year, the credentials team has registered, processed, and submitted 2,929 applications for credentials, permits, and temporary county certificates to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

The unit also serves as a liaison to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing for Riverside County's 23 school districts and county office of education.

Credential Information for Educators

Online credential renewal information can be found on the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) web site.

Educators looking to obtain an administrative services credential or clear their administrative services credential should contact our School of Education, Center for Administrative Preparation. Educators looking to obtain their teaching credential should contact the School of Education, Center for Teacher Preparation, which offers a variety of programs for new and veteran educators.
