Local Schools and Districts Seeking to Fill 650+ Openings at Countywide Education Recruitment Event

RIVERSIDE – From Perris to Coachella, San Jacinto to Lake Elsinore, and multiple districts in-between, recruiters will be seeking to fill more than 650 positions at the 2024 Countywide Education Recruitment Fair set for Saturday, March 16, at the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) Conference Center (4280 Brockton Avenue, Riverside, CA). The event is free and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

“Pursuing a career in the public education system is more than just a job with great benefits, competitive pay, and a strong retirement system,” said Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edwin Gomez. “We want to connect professionals who have a passion for serving students with opportunities to shape the future success of the Inland Empire—one student at a time.”

School and district representatives from across Riverside County and stretching into San Bernardino County will be ready to discuss employment opportunities in the following areas:

Certificated Positions

  • Multiple Subject
  • Secondary Single Subjects
  • Special Education
  • Speech/Language Pathologist
  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Visually Impaired
  • Career Technical Education
  • Permit Teacher, Head Start and Early Head Start

Internship eligibility will be considered.

Classified Positions

  • Instructional Assistant
  • Clerical
  • Food Service Worker
  • Custodial/Building & Grounds
  • Accounting
  • Information Technology

The Riverside County Office of Education and Rivers Springs Charter School, are included in the total of 16 local districts scheduled to participate in the event and be available to answer questions about employment opportunities:

For those interested in pursuing a career as a teacher, local colleges/universities and RCOE’s School of Education will be available to provide information about credentialing programs. 

Participating universities and partners include Schools First Federal Credit Union, Altura Credit Union, California State Teachers Retirement Systems (CalSTRS), Riverside City College, and Alliant International University.
