One of the RCOE Foundation's goals is to raise funds for scholarships for students in Riverside County who will earn their high school equivalency (GED or HiSET) or their high school diploma, and then enroll in a two- or four-year college.

To date, the Foundation has awarded over $600,000 in scholarship funds to students.

Applications now being accepted for 2024 Scholarships.

Application Deadline: June 30, 2024

Who can apply?

  • Riverside County high school seniors graduating from select school districts and RCOE programs (Cal-SAFE, CBK, Community School, Court School, Foster Youth, Desert Edge Adult School)
  • who are going to a two-year or four-year college
  • who have a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • who have completed their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  • who have a college acceptance letter or enrollment confirmation

RCOE Foundation Scholarship

  • RCOE Foundation Scholarship
    • This scholarship is available to high school seniors in select districts and all RCOE Programs.

  • RCOE Foundation STEM Scholarship
    • This scholarship is available to high school seniors in select districts, and all RCOE Programs who are majoring in a college STEM program.

How to apply

Interested students must complete and submit the following items by designated deadline to be considered for a RCOE Foundation scholarship: 

  • Personal essay (limited to no more than 1 1/2 pages)
  • Activities/accomplishment resume
  • Letter of recommendation or scholarship evaluation form
  • Scholarship application
  • Grade transcripts
  • FAFSA confirmation
  • Proof of college admissions


Student Success Fund Grant Program - Closed for Applications

The mission of this award is to support high school seniors to purchase items that are crucial to their academic and career success in graduating high school. Award funding can be used to purchase items such as a desk, school supplies, printer, technology, etc. with a maximum award amount of $500.

This scholarship is available to high school seniors in select districts.
